Dayco and Jason Richards Team up for Bathurst 2009 Sunday 11th October
Dayco have expanded their relationship with Jason Richards and the V8 Supercar series with the announcement of a Bathurst 1000 sponsorship to run signage on the Jason Richards’ Team BOC V8 Supercar.
The Dayco logo will appear on the dash board of the No 8 Team BOC Commodore in a prime position following the news that Jason Richards will carry 5 on board cameras for the Bathurst 1000 weekend. This weekends Bathurst 1000 coverage will stretch across 20 hours of live TV and be beamed to 130 countries and a potential 850 million people.
The additional Dayco signage for the season’s biggest race weekend is an obvious progression for the brand and further enhances Jason Richards’ Dayco ambassador role. Richards sees this year’s Bathurst 1000 as a chance to go one better. “I’ve gone so close to winning the Bathurst 1000 over the past few years, finishing second and missing out three times on the victory by only two and a half seconds. This year we go to Bathurst with a great chance, my team mate Cameron McConville complements our driver combination and between us we’ve had the second highest number of Bathurst starts. The Bathurst race is all about strength and reliability, qualities mirrored by the Dayco brand” said Richards.
