DAYCO GOES RACING WITH NISSAN MOTORSPORTS IN 2013

February 26, 2013 - Dayco Australia is delighted to announce a new marketing alliance with the Nissan Motorsport V8 Supercar team, the first new factory supported team to take part in Australian touring car racing in more than three decades.

Dayco is the world leader in the design and manufacture of both Original Equipment and Aftermarket engine belts, timing belts and timing belt kits, belt tensioners and engine pulleys. The company also distributes thermal management products including fan clutches and thermostats to suit just about every two or four wheeled vehicle driven on our roads.

Dayco has been a major player in the Australian automotive industry for more than 30 years and is renowned for delivering the highest product quality along with the broadest range of applications for both the Original Equipment and Aftermarket sectors. All Dayco products are sourced from the company’s state of the art manufacturing facilities located in Europe, the United States, Asia and South America.

The Dayco logo will appear on the rear wings of the Nissan Motorsport Altima V8 Supercars being driven by team owners Todd and Rick Kelly in their black and white Jack Daniel’s Racing livery during the entire 2013 V8 Supercars Championship Series.

The 15 event season gets underway with the spectacular Clipsal 500 in Adelaide from March 1-3 with 2013 V8 Supercar calendar highlights including three showcase races at the Australian Formula One Grand Prix from March 14-17, the return of V8 Supercars to Pukekohe Park Raceway (New Zealand) in April and the first ever V8 Supercar event to be held in the United States, the Texas 400 taking place in Austin this May.

The popular Townsville 400 is set for July, the Sandown 500 in September and Australia’s great race, the Bathurst 1000 takes place in October, followed by the Gold Coast 600 with the championship Grand Finale being held at Sydney Olympic Park in December.
