Dayco Wins Best Stand Award at the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Expo

MELBOURNE, Victoria, Australia – April 23, 2015 – Dayco, a leading global engine management technologies supplier for the automotive, industrial and aftermarket end-markets, announced today it was honoured with the Best Stand Award (over 36-square-metres) during the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Expo, held April 16-18 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

The Dayco Australia stand was commended for its spacious product layout as all component sectors of the company’s detailed aftermarket products were presented in sectioned showcases and open displays. According to Dayco Australia Sales and Marketing Director David McClurg, the award was a welcomed accolade.

“We always seek to improve our stand at every expo by learning lessons from past events and gauging feedback from our customers as to the products, tools and information they need to access,” said McClurg. “We structured the stand to best accommodate these requirements. Given the incredibly high standard of all of the exhibitor stands this year, gaining this award was a major achievement and something the Dayco Australia team can be extremely proud of.”

On both Thursday and Friday of the AAA Expo, V8 Supercar, Porsche Carrera Cup and International GT race driver David Russell was on hand to sign a series of limited edition Dayco/Nissan Motorsport posters. David was joined by Bathurst Champion and Nissan Motorsport team owner and driver Todd Kelly on Friday to broad visitor acclaim.

Dayco Australia also hosted a number of visitors during the AAA Expo, including Upper House Senators Kim Carr and Ricky Muir, along with Ms. Linda Spencer, International and Government Relations Director for the United States-based Speciality Equipment Market Association (SEMA), the world’s largest automotive aftermarket industry group.
